What’s the job? What will I actually do?

We are on the hunt for a Client Director to work across two of our most innovative accounts, Mondelez (80%) & Jacobs Douwe Egberts (20%)!

Your fundamental role is across 4 aspects: 

  • Developing the client relationship 
  • Owning the regional media plan for your brands
  • Ensuring the local Carat offices are aligned
  • Driving commercial performance on the account

In the role of Client Director, you will own the relationship with the client, you will ensure implementation of the strategic vision (with support, of course), you’ll deliver business financial targets and be an ambassador for Carat, connecting across internal and external networks. You will be the lead day-today senior point of contact for Mondelez on Philadelphia and for JDE. You must have a skillset and aptitude to help your clients make better marketing decisions.

Reporting into the Mondelez Managing Partner, you will contribute to the global Business Plan by always leveraging Carat product and driving the Aegis commercial agenda.

You will have an overview of all aspects of the account and able to be involved in everything from idea generation and innovative thinking through to business development planning and digital strategy. Crucially, you are in charge of bringing the disparate elements of DAN together, it is your job to ensure that best in class collaboration occurs between strategy, planners, digital and any other relevant specialist service teams. 

Every output from the account is ultimately your responsibility. This over sight extends from the briefing and planning work through to local market execution. Part of this process will also of course involve the work of the Planners and Network Managers in their roles and deliverables. At every stage you will aim for high quality, consistency and innovative thinking.
