Client Strategy Director

Role overview

The Client Strategy Director will be accountable for a specified client portfolio within an agency/agencies to ensure the relationship with the agency and its key clients is managed and developed, and client business development plans are aligned to achieve the overall Posterscope vision and business strategy.

The Client Strategy Director will own the senior agency relationships on their allocated key clients to ensure Posterscope is seen as a trusted advisor while delivering on all SLA/Scope of work/contractual commitments. Internally, the Client Strategy Director will work with the Agency Strategy Director and Planning and Buying Director/Manager to ensure specific commercial targets for the key clients are developed and successfully achieved and Posterscope output is of a consistently high quality.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior external and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship builder, who can pro-actively build and maintain external agency and client contacts and become a trusted advisor.
  • Strong commercial skills to identify specific opportunities to develop organic business, maintain high spending clients and convert new advertisers to OOH.
  • Strategic thinker demonstrating strong skills in presenting innovative thinking and solutions to clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to convert client ideas and solutions into the business that meets commercial objectives.
  • High level of knowledge and experience of the broad marketing and advertising landscape as well as being an expert in OOH.
  • Thorough understanding of digital media concepts, propositions, and digital services.
  • Thorough understanding of all industry and internal insight and data tools that will support the development of business development opportunities, e.g. OCS, Touchpoints, Planner.
  • Demonstrates a strong collaborative approach to sharing of ideas and business intelligence which supports the overall performance of the function and the business.
