Front-End Developer

Who are we?  What’s the team like? 

We are a centralized Data and Tech delivery team that work across Dentsu Aegis agencies.  As well as being actively engaged in working on large scale pitches, we are creating solutions to support planners, creatives, media teams, account handlers and finance teams in their day to day jobs.

Our ambition is to deliver a ‘single source of truth’ while bringing data to life in innovative ways.

What’s the job? What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of (and possibly contribution to) the UI/UX design wireframes to producing the visual elements of the application. 

You will work with the UI/UX designer as well as the Back-End team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

  • You will contribute to all stages from conception through build
  • You will recognize that a working MVP is often more valuable than a never-delivered perfect solution
  • You will be trusted with developing cross-browser interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (preferably in the web-application space)
  • You will bring great ideas to the table!


What are we looking for?

We are looking for somebody with experience in the following:

  • Angular (Version 2 and above)
  • Google Material Design guidelines and principals. (Angular Material desirable)
  • A CSS framework i.e. Bootstrap
  • D3.js or similar data visualization
  • AWS
  • Ability to develop efficient, highly optimised and clear code
  • GIT, ability to collaborate with others on one code base
  • Working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
  • Strong eye for detail
