- Co-ordinating in-house events
- Co-ordinating externally hosted programmes
- Managing interactions with third parties
- Confirming and tracking costs
- Developing our learning portal
- Advising employees on learning resources
The Ideal Candidate
First and foremost you will be really interested in people. You will be passionate about learning and motivated not simply by delivering a programme, but by creating a genuine change in understanding and behaviour.
You will need to be highly focused and organised, to deliver a range of projects in a situation where there are competing priorities.
You will need to be solutions-focussed; the type of person who remains calm in a crisis and doesn't get bogged down by small frustrations. In time you will bring your own creative ideas to improve our approach.
You need to be a naturally engaging communicator both one-on-one and in leading a small group. You will need to be able to start a conversation with a range of different people; get their attention and get them to care about what you care about. You will also need to be able to co-create a simple yet compelling articulation of a wide range of learning resources, to help our people both value them and understand how to navigate them.
You will aspire to work independently, taking pride in what you deliver. While we are a close team and collaborate to achieve our goals, each role within our team holds personal responsibility and ownership is important to us.
Ideally, you will have; previous experience of running workshops and coordinating projects, and an understanding of how people learn.
We are committed to creating a great environment for all our employees.
We offer 25 days holiday plus the opportunity to buy more holiday, flex your working hours and take 2 paid volunteering days each year to support charitable causes.
We also provide pension contributions, life assurance, free eye tests, season ticket loans, a cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers, and a whole host of great local and national discounts from leading retailers that you’ll have access to as a member of the team.
