WHAT’S THE JOB?
We are on the hunt for an Account Executive to join the vibrant and exciting LV, Eurostar & Funky Pigeon teams!
Across these accounts Carat play a leading role in developing the strategic communications approach, building the media plans including planning and delivering creative and tactical campaigns and providing on going market and competitive insight to clients.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about the media industry and has an understanding of the media agency’s place within advertising and marketing and has a desire to learn and develop within the team. The day to day role will include supporting the team and clients through reporting, data provision and attending meetings; developing media recommendations in response to briefs; amending plans in response to feedback and working with agency specialists to deliver them; client administration; meetings with media owners to understand their products; ad hoc requests.
LV= is one the UKs leading insurers. In a world where their insurance products are having to evolve and the way they communicate with their audience is changing, it is an exciting time to be part of the LV= journey as they transition all aspects of their business.
Eurostar is Europe’s premier train company serving Paris and Brussels primarily as well as enabling connections to multiple destinations across Northern Europe, allowing people to broaden their travel experiences conveniently and quickly. Eurostar are encouraging people to explore their’ Travel State of Mind’ through their current campaign and this will be substantiated further with the launch of the new direct route to Amsterdam at the end of 2017. Eurostar’s goal is to make themselves Europe’s most loved travel experience.
Funky Pigeon is a fun greetings card retailer which is using customer data to challenge the dominance of Moonpig. The Digitisation of media has opened up many opportunities and lends to an interesting time for using Funky Pigeon’s wealth of data to inform interesting strategic routes.
- You’ll need to have experience in industry and an understanding of media planning

Having an existing understanding of the media landscape will be beneficial, however more important is a desire to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of Carat, media, media owners and their products.
