Client Strategy Director

We are looking for a strong Client Strategy Director to join our fast-moving team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to join an innovative team with a great work ethos!


The Client Strategy Director will be accountable for a specified client portfolio within an agency/agency to ensure the relationship with the agency and its key clients is managed and developed, and client business development plans are aligned to achieve the overall Posterscope vision and business strategy.


The Client Strategy Director will own the senior agency relationships on their allocated key clients to ensure Posterscope is seen as a trusted advisor while delivering on all SLA/Scope of work/contractual commitments. Internally, the Client Strategy Director will work with the Agency Strategy Director and Planning and Buying Director/Manager to ensure specific commercial targets for the key clients are developed and successfully achieved and Posterscope output is of a consistently high quality.

 

Role Responsibility

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


• Accountable for delivering the billing in line with Posterscope budget, and strategic requirements.
• Accountable for ensuring Planning and Buying understand client business plan requirements and commercial targets.
• Co-ordinate inputs from Planning and Buying to identify specific market and business intelligence requirements to develop propositions for key growth clients.
• Accountable for providing an overview of audit performance and Post Campaign Analysis (PCAs) across all campaigns for specific agency clients to construct a performance story with the aim of identifying and developing agency growth opportunities.
• Responsible for providing input to define required market intelligence/competitor analysis to enable a more efficient consistent pro-active approach. Responsible for ensuring Insight create a central repository for client and competitor information, and that it is regularly updated.
• Responsible for ensuring all relevant client information is captured, classified and constantly updated and appropriately shared with Planning and Buying, and shared service teams.
 

Forecasting
• Accountable and responsible for regularly monitoring commercial performance and forecasts (including pipeline) against client business plan target, ensuring pro-active timely actions are taken to resolve any performance gaps
• Responsible for ensuring Chief Media Officer (CMO)/Head of Investment (HOI) are made aware of any major change in spend direction and work with the Planning and Buying agency team to devise an appropriate plan of action.
• Responsible for supporting Planning and Buying in ensuring appropriate quality standards are adhered to for all client written outputs.
Media Owner Opportunities
• Working with Planning & Buying (Trading Directors), responsible for identifying significant client opportunities where media owner support is required. Responsible for providing client intelligence to the Agency Strategy Director on any commercial impact updating the client business plan once actions have been agreed with media owners.

OOH Marketing
• Responsible for understanding the full OOH proposition in the context of the overall media landscape and the agency’s services, and ensuring OOH knowledge bank is up to date with relevant material.
• Responsible for recommending to the Agency Strategy Director, organic growth business development opportunities where specific agency clients would benefit from exposure to OOH events.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior external and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship skills to work across multiple stakeholders, and collaborate with broad range of senior external partners.
• Strong commercial skills to help identify opportunities to develop organic business, maintaining high spending clients and convert new advertisers to OOH.
• Strong collaboration approach to sharing ideas and business intelligence which will support the overall growth of the business.
