Digital Account Executive, William Grant & Burberry

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Digital Account Executive to join Vizeum Global working on William Grant and Burberry. 

We are specifically looking for a true team player who has real willingness to learn in a fast-paced commercial environment, an interest in online media as a whole and is passionate about the Beverages, Entertainment and Fashion industries.

This role has great potential for the right person to develop their career within an established team. You will also be at the heart latest media innovation and working alongside our digital specialists, so unique opportunity to grow key skills of tomorrow.

You will be expected to use a range of proprietary applications used for competitive spend reporting, media planning and reporting for which training will be given.

Role Responsibility

The Digital Account Executive role will work on William Grant & Sons and Burberry.  Responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to:

  • Supporting the wider digital team to roll out digital best practice on both accounts, and becoming the day to day contact to support our local Markets with requests or queries
  • Supporting on digital media planning and creation of brand playbooks
  • Lead on media buying, activation and reporting of global campaigns when appropriate with support from Account manager.
  • Delivering key campaign reporting deliverables to the Client
  • Liaising directly with media owners, key digital and social media players and network agencies to organise meetings and manage bookings from booked to live date
  • Upskilling in key areas of digital marketing such as programmatic, performance and social by working with relevant specialists.
  • Building Relationships with Media Owners, key digital and social media players and internal op-cos to learn about the services they provide and sharing useful updates with the wider team
  • Provide external stakeholders with accurate and relevant plan details (Clients, Media Owners and  Creative Agencies)
  • Finance Management for booked activity. From ensuring invoices have been raised to adding campaigns on DDS and ensuring internal database of all activity is recorded and updated
  • Using data tools to monitor campaigns, competitor activity, media industry trends and putting together client presentations
  • Pro-actively searching and sharing any industry wide updates and relevant insights to the wider team 

The Ideal Candidate

  • All round interest in the media industry (from media owners to industry knowledge and trends) and a willingness to share opinion on key relevant articles/news pieces.
  • Very curious about how brands behave in digital media especially on social media
  • Confident in your own ability to make decisions in order to work independently
  • Pro-active thinker, always wanting to learn more
  • Numerically confident
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, you’ll be highly organised
  • Pro-active in your learning and ability to support all areas of the business
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to meet tight and various deadlines under minimal supervision
  • Confident in your own ability to make decisions in order to work independently
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment always willing to go the extra mile
