Interim Communications Manager

Job Introduction

  • Working with the CMO and DAN Head of Digital Marketing and Content to develop a measurable digital marketing strategy for each of the brands
  • Share strategies, best practice, playbooks and toolkits (including platforms) with all markets & brands across the network
  • Accountable for the success of Social activation across global channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn (and others they identify e.g. Snapchat) line managing Community Manager
  • Working with the CMO & Head of External Communications to develop an innovative content programme for each of the brands across each of the media brands that brings out thought leadership to life in interesting and engaging ways
  • Leadership of website re-design project for Carat and dentsuX and management of all stakeholders, full integration of Salesforce and Workday
  • Global SEO strategy for all brands
  • Ongoing management of the global websites ensuring content is refreshed regularly and aligned to all key markets
  • Integration of Salesforce and development of CRM strategy that supports lead gen into all websites
  • Building relationships with Global Media Brands marketing and communications practitioners globally
  • Creating great content in support of our major initiatives and events e.g. Cannes Lions, Dmexco and M&A.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from across the business to co-produce content that extends the reach and impact of thought leadership channels.

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements

  • Experience of leading website build projects and integration of Salesforce
  • Experience creating compelling content that engages targeted audiences
  • Excellent writer with creative eye
  • Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple work streams concurrently
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and confident in managing senior stakeholders
  • Able to motivate and inspire others to produce outstanding work
  • Great collaborator, able to work with teams across the organisation
  • Ability to create differentiated editorial angles for industry and non-industry audiences 
  • A confident and professional communications professional – with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Experience of planning around and working in a complex, global communications environment
  • Ability to position content across multiple audiences, markets and channels
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders

  • Developing great relationships across the Carat business and becoming a trusted advisor and source of support for key stakeholders globally.
  • Being an active and valued member of the wider Dentsu Aegis Global Communications Network – comfortable working across countries, cultures and time-zones.

  • A precise eye for writing & design and maintaining high standards for content
  • Meticulous on process – keeping internal schedules, communications platforms and plans up to date
