Marketing and Distribution Coordinator

Job Introduction

The role of the Marketing and Distribution Coordinator sits within The Story Lab Global team based in London, the central hub for The Story Labs 24 global offices. The Coordinator will assist with all matters relating to format and programme distribution ensuring a streamlined, accurate and efficient work flow within the distribution team.

Line managed by the Distribution Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for the organisation and coordination of all assets, marketing and distribution materials; the collating and dissemination of important information on our slate to the local markets (ratings, materials), and general administrative duties relating to the sale and acquisition of content globally.

The Marketing and Distribution Coordinator Role gives the successful candidate the opportunity to learn about the fast-paced world of international content distribution, and the opportunity for personal development in the area of international content acquisition, B2B marketing and sales.

Role Responsibility

Managing multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment

Drafting /creating documents such as sales sheets, sales kits, ratings documents and pitch presentations (Powerpoint, Word Adobe programme knowledge advantageous)

Keeping spreadsheets updated (Including marketing and media plans, Asset Tracker, Content Pipeline for example)

Sourcing assets and materials from partners

Updating of website

Updating of Production Bibles and coordination of Production Consultancy visits with partners

Uploading and organisation of content on to Vimeo and Sharepoint

Collating, saving and organising format and programme and marketing deliverables and materials

Market and conference organisation and preparation

Circulating information to local markets such as materials, ratings, contracts

Taking minutes for slate calls, and other ad hoc meetings when required.

Arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms and registering visitors

Booking travel

Helping the LAB team with general administrative duties when required

Attending meetings / events when required

Liaising with local TSL markets, producers and broadcasters when required and as directed by the lab team

The Ideal Candidate

Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment

Experience in working in an administrative capacity

Experience in working in a production or distribution company

Extremely well organised

Strong attention to detail and flawless accuracy

Good work ethic

Polite, helpful and professional

Excellent Microsoft Office Skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Photoshop / Illustrator experience is an advantage

Understanding of TV ratings, production bibles, international distribution an advantage

The ability to prioritise and focus under pressure

Interest and understanding of other cultures and countries

Foreign languages advantageous
