Media Buying Manager

As well as being listed as top 50 digital agency by Econsultancy in 2016, Fetch has also been named mobile agency of the year in three consecutive years, and was voted fastest growing mobile marketing agency in Europe by Media Momentum Awards.

There is now a need to appoint a Media Buying/Investment Manager in London. This new role is about how we maximize commercial value for our clients from our investment into mobile media. It will involve working with account teams to build an understanding of investment trends to create leverage with the supplier base of mobile ad networks and DSPs.

The role doesn’t necessarily require an in-depth understanding into the mechanics of mobile media and while knowledge of digital media is preferred, we are open to candidates with experience in any media trading discipline.

Role description:

Mobile media continues to be a fragmented, complex and dynamic marketplace. At Fetch, we are growing fast, working with direct clients like Facebook Apple, Hulu, Mozilla, Lululemon and Hotels.com as well as those within the Dentsu Aegis Network. We work on performance campaigns, brand campaigns, and we deliver across mobile display media, search, social, desktop, and offline.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with account teams in London to understand trends in client’s investment patterns

• Understand what the mobile vendors are offering, and how their offering is evolving in the context of our client’s requirements

• Build relationships with key trading individuals at vendors

• Strike short term commercial deals that drive value for our clients from mobile vendors

• Put simple, standard contractual terms in place

• Monitor pre-agreed trading revenue targets

• Support Global Head of Media as required on global deals

To be successful in this role you need to bring strong experience in media trading, preferably but not exclusively in digital. As the ideal candidate, you will come from an agency or agency group.
