Based in the central operations team and reporting into the Operations Director, this role is to support the The Story Lab Studio team in all Financial & Legal departmental requirements and relevant operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous finance or operations experience and and will be proactive and diligent supporting the improvement of processes for the fast-paced studio team
Support the Operations Director to help design, set up and maintain departmental financial and legal processes, including:
- Production cost reconciliations of job accounts and production budgets
- Create and manage the invoice overview status sheet
- Setups: new suppliers and finance Job code
- Management of supplier payments – request and monitor
- Creature and issue purchase orders for all resources booked
- Matching up the purchase orders with invoices received
- Matching up courier logs with invoices and feed onto producers for budget.
- Reconcile of production budgets with invoices coming in. Then report these figures into the Production Director so these can be added into the budgets and for departmental reporting
- Be responsible for all petty cash reconciliations
- Reconcile department credit cards
