What’s the job?

Here at Vizeum we are on the hunt for a Planning Manager to join one of Vizeum & Dentsu Aegis’ most important & innovative clients who we have a truly world class collaborative partnership with, Shop Direct!

Shop Direct is the UK’s second biggest online pureplay retailer, with the digital department stores Very.co.uk, Littlewoods.com and VeryExclusive.co.uk. They have delivered record breaking profits for the last 3 years!

Very is Shop Direct’s flagship brand and is the UK’s fastest growing department store with an unbeatable range of famous brands. Last year they also launched Very Exclusive, a fashion retailer democratising luxury fashion & selling brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Littlewoods is Shop Directs heritage brand; however, it has been on a transformation over the last 10 years from catalogue brand to digital retailer helping families to own the brands that let them live the lifestyle they desire.

Whilst Shop Direct is a fast-paced retail business, they understand the power of brand and spend significantly in building this. Hence this is a very varied account giving you the opportunity to plan & deliver big innovative brand campaigns alongside delivering smart shorter term tactical campaigns. Shop Direct understand the power of data and we are currently working closely with them on how we use data to fuel smarter planning & buying decisions.

The account management role will have direct responsibility for the Littlewoods client relationship and communications planning as well as a wider remit across Pace ensuring we are delivering projects across Shop Direct that help them move on their communications planning and grow their business.

Personal Specification:

  • Comms planning experience
  • The ability to build a rapport quickly with people – those in the Dentsu Aegis network and clients
  • Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work as an individual but also within a flexible team
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy with a methodical approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Organised, motivated and creative with a passion for media!
